Dispatches From The Frequency

THE
JOURNAL

Long-form writing on frequency, devotion, science, and the traditions that went deep enough to find the same thing.

⊕ BLOOM · PHILOSOPHY

The Physics of Devotion

What happens when a billion people pray the same frequency for a thousand years

Cymatics is the science of visible sound. When you vibrate a metal plate covered in sand at a specific frequency, the sand arranges itself into precise geometric forms. The BLOOM collection documents those traces. You are not wearing a symbol of devotion. You are wearing what devotion looks like at the particle level.

The Geometry of Kashi

Why ghat steps are the most honest map of existence

The ghats of Varanasi descend to the Ganga at a specific angle, worn smooth by three thousand years of feet. Viewed from above: parallel lines of decreasing width converging toward water. The progressive dissolution of form as it approaches the formless. A diagram of the human condition, carved in stone.

The Double-Slit Is a Koan

On observation, collapse, and the WITNESS collection

A particle passes through two slits simultaneously — until you observe which one. The moment you watch, the wave collapses. The act of observation changes what is observed. This is documented physics. It is also the central koan of Zen. The WITNESS collection renders the interference pattern that only appears when the witness stops watching.

≋ RAGA · COMING SOON

Bhairav at 4am

The science and the silence of the pre-dawn raga

Raga Bhairav belongs to the brahma muhurta — 3:30 to 5:30am, before the sun but after deep night. Its defining note is komal Dha, ratio 8:5. Plotted as a Lissajous figure, that ratio draws an asymmetric three-lobe closed curve. That curve becomes the garment. Not a symbol of the raga — the raga itself, in form.

"Truth is not a conclusion. It is what remains when you stop adding to it." — J. Krishnamurti
